The Advantage Road Hazard Program will reimburse you up to the stated limits of the chosen program; either A, B, C or D, (A = Tire cost up to $75.00; B = $76.00 to $100.00; C = $101.00 to $150.00; D = $151.00 to $250.00) for the costs incurred to repair or replace a tire damaged by a road hazard. All you need to do is call for your claim number and bring the damaged tire to the service provider of choice and have it repaired or replaced. Then submit a copy of your original sales receipt, with the affixed labels and a copy of your repair/ replacement receipt with the explanation of the road hazard. What is a Road Hazard?
A road hazard is defined as a cut, snag, or bruise to the tire caused by a pothole, tree limb or any other debris on the road surface.
Terms and Conditions
The Advantage Program is for new tires only. The terms are 36 months or 2/32"? remaining tread, whichever comes first. Mounting, balancing, taxes and valve stem (up to $2.00) are included as long as the total price is within the limits of the selected program. From months 1 through 12, reimbursement is 100% of the cost of the tire up to the stated limits. Beginning on the 13th month, reimbursement is calculated on a pro-rata basis. The replacement tire must be of like kind, quality and price up to the stated limits of the program you chose. The Advantage Program covers one repair and one replacement per tire.
Exclusions
Tire failure outside the United States; Destruction due to impact with curb, raised pavement markers, off-road use, dry rot, misalignment; suspension problem, rim leak, manufacturer's defect, misuse, driving on construction site, vandalism, fire, upset collision, driver negligence or normal wear; Tires transferred from vehicle on which they were originally installed; Livery, commercial vehicles and any vehicle over 10,500 GVW; Space saver spares, re-capped, factory second type tires; Consequential damage, including loss, damage or injury to persons, property or any vehicle resulting from the failure of any of the tires of the vehicle described herein; Total loss or damage resulting directly or indirectly from a criminal act; Any tire not listed on the original invoice.
It's Easy
In the event of a claim:
1. Within 72 hours of the loss, call 1-877-315-4600 for your claim number. (Final approval is authorized subject to review of required documentation).
2. Send to VMS Advantage Program, 801 Motor Parkway, Suite 200, Hauppauge, NY 11788 or Fax to 631-851-1515 the following:
a. Copy of original sales receipt showing the Advantage Road Hazard label(s) with serial numbers, your name, address and tires purchased with prices.
b. Copy of your sales receipt for the repair or replacement tire with a clear description of the road hazard encountered, tread depth of the damaged tire and the claim number provided to you by the Advantage Customer Service Representative.
3. Your reimbursement check will arrive within 30 days.
